Ufell

Christopher Antonio De León Vélez (Born Aug. 5, 1993) in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Artist, composer, writer and professional trombonist raised in the neighborhood Campo Rico in Canovanas (Puerto Rico) De Leon at 11 years of age auditioned as a flutist at the Escuela Libre de Música de San Juan Ernesto Ramos Antonini and began his journey as a musician and trombonist. It was not until the 15 years he began to develop his talent as a writer and composer within the urban genre in Puerto Rico. On January 31, 2011 he released his first single titled "A ella le gusta el party", in August of the same year developing its second promotional song "Quieres Conmigo" theme which opened the doors of radio entertainment in the station 11Q 11:40 a.m. where they conducted the first interviews within the ESPN DEPORTES and Varieties programs on the station. In 2011 he began his Bachelor of "Nursing Science" at the University of Puerto Rico in Carolina which ended successfully in 2016 and graduated from the Medical Sciences Campus of the University of Puerto Rico During the time of his university studies decreased the time on his career as an artist crafted to meet his educational priorities, in 2013 he joined "The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers' (ASCAP for its acronym in English) American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers. The same year he collaborated in the production and composition of the theme: “Sex0 Pasajero” single that gave him a second chance within the media of radio and television communications on the island. Felipe Duran (artist and producer) heard the single and began to promote it on the radio "MIX 107.7 FM" on the program “Oye esto que te conviene”. The promotion results achieved exposure in and out of Puerto Rico to increase its fan base in other countries such as Chile, Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico and Ecuador. Already in 2015 managed to give a change to his career working a new single titled “Estoy Crecido" produced by ENOK (producer and artist of the urban genre) mixing rap and reggaeton. I am growing up I was launched by iTunes and Spotify managing to increase its popularity. In 2016 Ufell decides to work a single in the Trap genre entitled (MOTEL), the hard production two months, its release was released by Spotify and Apple Music managing to reach more than 500 thousand people within networks and more than 22k downloads in just two weeks of release. Currently De Leon is the owner of the entertainment company NUOVO MEDIA LLC & The New Inc Publishing.
