Российско-германская магистерская программа экологической наравленности "Полярные и морские исследования" География - Экология - Океанология - Геоэкология POMOR is a joint master program of the St. Petersburg State University (SPbSU) and of the University of Hamburg in cooperation with the University of Bremen, Christian Albrecht University of Kiel, University of Potsdam, the Arctic and Antarctic Research Institute (AARI), the Alfred Wegener Institute for Polar and Marine Research (AWI), GEOMAR Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel and the Institute for Baltic Sea Research Warnemuende. POMOR offers a chance for advanced students who want to finish their study with a double master degree in polar and marine sciences (Master degree of the Saint Petersburg State University and Master degree of the University of Hamburg). The courses are mainly given at the Faculty of Geography and Geoecology of the SPbSU and at the cooperating Otto Schmidt Laboratory for Polar and Marine Research (AARI) in St. Petersburg.
