SUMMER JOB OPPORTUNITY For a Guitarist! Who fit the requirements Overnight Counselor for a prestigious International Ballet Summer Program in CT. To be in charge of young students and organize music/singing activities. DATES: June 27 – August 8, 2009 JOB DESCRIPTION: An overnight summer ballet program, located on a campus of a prestigious private school in Connecticut, is looking for mature, responsible, outgoing individuals to be counselors and to be responsible for children ages 9 – 15. Counselors will be responsible for supervising the children, as well as planning and running some extracurricular music activities. Ideally the counselor will play an instrument like a guitar and would be able to teach students in a fun/interactive way popular songs / organize outdoor sing-alongs / rhythm games / etc. REQUIRED: • Love of and experience with children • Experience in organizing and implementing fun and safe activities • Strong organizational skills • Must have all immunizations. • Age 20 or older • Sensitivity to/appreciation of other cultures and foreign students As a figure of authority who will be entrusted with children, the following behavior is not allowed: smoking, possession/use of any illegal substances, drinking, foul language, sexual activity, public display of affection, provocative attire and any other aggressive/foul/dangerous behavior. COMPENSATION: o $1500 - $2000 (based on experience) for the summer + housing & meals
