SUN OF THE SLEEPLESS is a chameleon that turned from raw intense Black Metallish Music (Mcd "Poems to the wretches hearts" and 7" "1000 kalte Winter") to sots and released a new song called "Neunter November" on the "To magic...2" compilation. This song shows the new experimental side of SUN OF THE SLEEPLESS with a very dark atmosphere. For next year a new release is planned that will take SUN OF THE SLEEPLESS deeper into electronic music fields incorporating elements from horrorfilm soundtracks and trip hop. In 2004 SUN OF THE SLEEPLESS released a aplit album with NACHTMAHR. An atmospheric journey back to the wild beginnings of a then still untamed musical rage and fury. These songs cut to the quick and the bone, mostly impulsive, sometimes lurking, but always powerful and music-wise as vividly as skilled. Not many contemporary musicians are up to the challenge of expressing the cruel essence of Trakl’s misanthropic ‘Romance At Night’ musically in such a touching way as SUN OF THE SLEEPLESS do.
