Mark Fisher Mark has an international reputation for creating spectacular live entertainment. He has designed some of the most memorable rock concerts ever staged, including ‘The Wall’ for Pink Floyd, every Rolling Stones show since 1989, and every U2 concert since 1992. He also designed the theatre, scenery and acrobatic effects for ‘KA’, the permanent show by Cirque du Soleil at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, and the opening and closing ceremonies for the 2006 Olympic Winter Games in Turin. Working with Peter Gabriel, Mark designed and directed ‘OVO’, the acrobatic Millennium Show at the Dome in London. The show ran for 999 performances through the year 2000, to an audience of 6.5 million people. Mark’s current work includes his appointment as chief designer for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008, a new show for Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas and projects for Wynn resorts in Las Vegas and Macau.
