Концерт Seeni Seemud в Пивариуме!

Сегодня (во вторник, 5 мая) в Пивариуме пройдет концерт финнско-эстонского дуэта "Seeni Seemud". Джимми (кларнет) и Триин (вокал и гитара) играют смесь джаза, фолка и рок-н-ролла, начиная от китайских и тибетских народных песен и русской попсы, заканчивая джазовыми стандартами Портера и Эллингтона. TRIIN LEMBA - 1986 Beautiful singer - trained in classical guitar at various music schools in Tallinn - represented Estonia at various Baltic youth classical guitar competitions. Her lovely voice was trained sweetly singing Estonian folk music and in various folk choirs. On stage she shines with smiles, gentleness and bouncy energy. After meeting Jimmy in summer 2006 they travelled for a year in the far east - Japan, China, Cambodia, Vietnam, Russia, Laos, Thailand - where she used her amazing language skills to pick up local songs and now speaks very impressive Mandarin Chinese. She is comfortable singing in pretty much any language (Tibetan, Cambodian, Russian, English, Spanish, Estonian, Sweedish to name a few...) and is currently studying classical guitar teaching on a scholarship at the main music school in Tallinn. ======================================================================= JIMBINO VEGAN - 1979 Studying Russian at university before giving it all in and travelling allowing him to study languages more meaningfully than at university. He speaks around 10 languages to various degrees of comprendable oddness. Since 2001 he has been on the road supporting himself playing clarinet on the streets and selling paintings and illustrations. He travelled for 5 years in europe with different musicians and was especially inspired by Johney Joyce and Talis Silde - who inspired him to develop elements of circus and theatre into his performance. Blu Beverage inspired him to write his first songs on the ukulele and for a period he was making puppets and rapping with Roby Wan Grip. He arrived in Tallinn and fell in love with Triin in 2006, he met her on the Hill of Fools as she played her guitar with a gang on punks in the centre of the medevil old town. He left his band to play music with her and together they travelled to the far east and through many trials of performing couples are still performing together and inspiring each other enourmously. He is now travelling often and still daily playing music on the streets.
