SERDAR ORTAÇ He was born in İstanbul in 17th February 1970. He started his primary school education in Kocamustafapaşa İlkokul and finished secondary school education in Suadiye Lisesi. After graduating from Haydarpaşa Technical High School, he started studying American Language Literature branch at Bilkent University; however wasn’t able to complete it. While he was working as a producer and presenter in various private radio channels in İstanbul, a plate producer listening to his programs proposed him to sign a contract with Raks Music Company. That was how he joined music world in 1994 with his first album: Aşk İçin Karabiberim. 2 years later, in 1996, he launched his second album, Yaz Yağmuru, which was also recorded in Spanish in Mexico. Serdar Ortaç later on prepared a Spanish single of this album in Turkey. Gecelerin Adamı, his 3rd album, came on the market in 1998. Just 2 years after his 4th album, Bilsemki in 2000, he introduced his 5th album: Okyanus. His 6th album, Beni Unut/Çarka was launched in 2004.
