The Anglo-American School of Saint Petersburg is an international learning community where students, teachers and parents demand excellence and engagement from one another. Drawing from Russian culture, as well as the unique experiences each brings, students will realize intellectual growth, respect for self and others and develop competence, a personal voice and commitment to a secure future for all. The Anglo-American School of Moscow, founded in 1949, is an independent, coeducational day school, which offers an educational program from Pre-Kindergarten (4-year-olds) through grade 12. The school year is comprised of 4 quarters. The first day of the 2009-2010 school year is August 25 and the last day of the school year will be June 18. During the year students have a 1-week fall break (November), 3-week holiday break (December/January), a 1-week February break, and a one-week spring break (April).
