He enjoys skateboarding, playing golf and basketball. He was trained in Barbizon School of Modeling where he took up Advanced Professional Acting, and was also trained by Bill Greeley of Atlanta, Georgia. Arias' breakout television role was on Everybody Hates Chris and in The Suite Life of Zack and Cody , where he played Randall. He also appeared in the film Nacho Libre, where he played Juan Pablo alongside Jack Black. He also became part of the successful Disney Channel television series, Hannah Montana, where he filled in the recurring role of Rico. In the show's second season, he became a series regular. He has had guest appearances in series like One Missed Call and Sister Sister. In July 2006, Arias made his stage debut in the Gridirin play Water and Power at the Mark Taper Forum. The play was written by his Nacho Libre co-star, Richard Montoya. Aside from acting on television series, he has also appeared in various Disney Channel specials, including the Road Trip to Pixar, in which he appeared with Hannah Montana co-star Jason Earles, to visit the Pixar Studios where they were creating the film Cars. He also appeared in the Disney Channel Games 2006, which he really enjoyed because he said he got to be himself. He later became part of the Disney Channel New Year's Sing-a-long Bowl-a-thon. In 2008, Moises Arias starred in the feature film The Perfect Game, a sport drama directed by William Dear. He was cast in the role of Mario, working with fellow Disney star Jake T. Austin from Wizards of Waverly Place. Arias’ other appearances were in music videos, such as those for Pearl Jam, The Jonas Brothers, and Parmalee.
