Nauryz at Regents Park

Spring has started. Amazing weather outside. Students hanging out in the Main Quad and Gordon Square Gardens. You can feel love everywhere. That is when you know that our favourite Kazakh celebration is approaching. Of course it is Nauryz, celebration of the vernal (spring) equinox and of the symbolic renewal of nature. UCL Kazakh Society gives you an opportunity to feel the spirit of Kazakh New Year in the middle of London (in the Regents Park to be more precise). Come along and join us for a picnic this Sunday afternoon. Everyone is kindly asked to bring food and drinks with them. If you have any games, for example cards, Frisbee disc or anything else, you can take it with you and help us to have even more fun. Date: Sunday, 22d of March Time: 2 pm Venue: Regents Park (Meeting place: Great Portland Street Station at 1:50pm Please don't be late) So why not come along and enjoy amazing weather with your friends while celebrating Nauryz.
