Essay Length: 750 words Essay Language: English Deadline: April 30th, 2009 (or notice of intent by March 31st, 2009) A notice of intent is not required, but it tells the U.S. Consulate General that you plan to enter the contest despite the fact that your essay is not ready. It will allow us to estimate how many people are participating in the contest.
