This will be an open discussion on the various forms and styles of American music, including classical, jazz, and popular styles. Since this is a discussion, topics will be decided by questions by those in attendance; this will not be in lecture format. As a performing and creative artist, Demetrius will also speak about his own experiences and collaborations in working with famous American musicians from all of these genres, and will also discuss the concepts and philosophies of both individual artists and movements.
