V-day

For the second year in a row, UNF students, faculty and staff are teaming up to present "The Vagina Monologues." Proceeds from the show will go to local organizations, including the UNF Women's Center, and also to the 2009 V-Day Spotlight Campaign: "Stop Raping Our Greatest Resource: Power to the Women & Girls of DRC." V-Day is a global movement to end violence against women and girls. The organization raises funds and awareness through benefit productions of "The Vagina Monologues" and other artistic works written by V-Day's founder, award winning playwright Eve Ensler.
