CCP will cease to pay or withhold affiliate payments should any of the following practices be employed by one of our affiliates: * Placing or managing any paid search listings in any major search engine based on EVE Online or CCP branded keywords, keyword phrases, and misspellings that are either used alone or with any other word or phrase within expanded or broad-match functionalities * The use of any branded keywords, keyword phrases or misspellings on the following major search engines and their corresponding content or advertising networks: o Google (including .com and all international derivatives) o Yahoo (including .com and all international derivatives) o MSN (including .com and all international derivatives) * The replication or copying by affiliates of paid search creative (including titles, headers and/or descriptions) that is currently being managed by CCP for any in-market campaigns on all search engines * The following are Restricted Keyword Terms: o All branded keywords, keyword phrases and misspellings associated with EVE Online and CCP trademarks and intellectual property o All affiliates using paid search marketing must build a negative keyword set within their campaigns to ensure that all the rules in this protocol are met + This applies to both existing and new campaigns for each affiliate partner + Only major search engines listed in this protocol are affected # Partners can continue to use branded keywords on search engines not prohibited by this protocol + A sample of disallowed keywords include, but are not limited to: ‘CCP, CCP Games, CCP EVE, CCP EVE Online, EVE, EVE Online, EVE-Online, EVE-Online.com, eveonline.com, eveonline’ * CCP reserves the right to change this Search Engine Marketing Protocol at any time (this includes the addition/removal of other search engines, keywords or keyword phrases and negative match requirements)
