Whether you're proudly single or happily dating, enjoy San Francisco's best Pre-Valentine's Day party! Rising Star, Max Vangeli and his very talented friend & DJ Johnny Collective will be spinning high energy dance music from 9pm to 2am. Additionally the lovely ladies of Desired Demptations will be entertaining guests with their spicy dance moves. The first 50 ladies wearing red or pink receive a red rose. Originally from Eastern European Moldova, he moved to the United States in the 1990's. Vangeli's career began at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB), when he and his roommates started a weekly party called "Studio 54", hoping to attract fellow dance music fans. The party was a success, gaining celebrity among his 20,000+ UCSB classmates. Max was discovered by and signed with Rising Music, Chris Lake's record label, thanks to recognition by Pete Tong in early 2008. In August of 2008 Vangeli's "Crazed EP" was released via Chris Lake's Rising Music. The EP soared on Beatport.com's download charts, earning airplay on BBC Radio 1 and other well known dance music radio stations around the world. Max Vangeli is supported by some of the biggest names in the industry including: Laidback Luke, Sandy Rivera, Chris Lake, Pete Tong, Tommy Trash and Dumb Dan. He is booked regularly at San Francisco's most popular nightclubs including: Ruby Skye, Vessel, and Insomnia Afterhours, where he is a resident. Max Vangeli has toured extensively throughout his native Eastern Europe. Currently, Max Vangeli is working on new material and will expand his North American presence in 2009.
