Welcome to the vKontakte page of RAMA! The mission of our organization is to serve as a forum to enable Russian American physicians, residents, nurses, researchers, medical students and other medical professionals to excel in patient care, teaching and research, participate in humanitarian work, practice culture-sensitive medicine and to pursue their aspirations in professional and community affairs. Presently headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, RAMA serves as an umbrella organization for several member associations nationwide. RAMA is recognized as an independent voice of Russian-speaking medical professionals in the healthcare legislation and policy arena. Our members participate in philanthropic activities and we firmly believe in giving back to the community through the RAMA Help Initiative and Charitable Foundation. This commitment extends back to Russia, as well as to a variety of local projects led by members here in the USA.
