The Deep is the first and the only neo-soul band in Latvia. The name of the band says it all. They believe that there is a meaning to everything in life. And if you are smart enough to go Deeper, you will find the Truth. Whether in music, or relationships, or faith, or spirit ‘cause there is but One and Only – Love. The very musicians are what makes the band so special and even unique. Everyone but the first of all, Deep himself has both a great personality and a great sense of musicianship. The result is audible – the nice and smooth blend of urban-gospelish neo-soul music that melts your heart and takes your sadness away. The Deep band plays quite a lot around Riga. Their credits include Rigas Ritmi Jazz Fest and other national musical events. The song "Ya vernus" has won a contest on the largest national radio station MIX FM. Now, let’s meet so gifted Vladimir Toporin on the bass with his killing bass lines, the smooth’n’hot Andris Buikis on the drums ever full of energy and groove, and the sensitive and funky Vadim Bazaly on the guitar.
