The location of the Calaron sector is ambiguous. The game Star Wars: Rebellion places several planets in the sector that later sources have located at completely different regions of the galaxy from one another. For example, a map in Star Wars Insider 65 shows Kessel as just beyond the borders of Hutt Space, on the "east" side of the galactic plane, but it depicts Ithor far away to the galactic "north" in the Mid Rim. Further, "Republic HoloNet News Core Edition 14:9:01", in Star Wars Insider 69, establishes that Skor II is located on or near the Rimma Trade Route, which, on the Insider 65 map, runs to the galactic "southwest". Further complicating matters is the fact that the novel The Hutt Gambit places Kessel in the Kessel sector.[8] The novel Balance Point does imply that Fwillsving, Kessel, and Kubindi are indeed near one another.[9] Clearly, not all of the planets placed in the sector by Star Wars: Rebellion can actually be located there, but no source has yet clarified the situation.
