There are only two rules when listening to the Central Coast’s leading Metal band, Ride From A Stranger. One: Throw away all your pre-conceived notions of anything Metal/Hardcore you’ve heard before. Two: You must be home during business hours to receive and sign for the total package that is Ride From A Stranger. In just two short years, these five young men from California have worked out the kinks, and found their niche in the scene. From the moment their destination was decided, these boys turned into professional musicians who since then havent stopped writing and performing, in the hopes of becoming your favorite Metal band. Recently, Ride From A Stranger finished recording their second disk, The Blindfolded EP, an honest, self-released album that displays their tenacity, as well as their dedication. Clarifying their stance in the genre, The Blindfolded captures their intense Live Sound that is usually lost from the stage to the studio. The release will parallel their tour across west coast this summer, and will stretch even further into the fall. Getting on shows has never been a problem for the five young men who naturally built a strong reputation as a high energy live band. Founded by Nick Zoppo (Vocals) and James Goodwin (Guitar) in 2004, stage presence and accuracy was something that came easier than expected as the rest of the band came together and found its groove.
