Genre: rap-metal Ryan Tooker – Vocals Dustin Tooker – Guitar Stitch – Bass Josh Garcia – Drums Grade 8 formed in 1996 in the Los Angeles area. They signed with Lava Records in 2002, and released their self-titled debut album grade 8 on February 11, 2003. The band also appeared at Ozzfest that same year. On August 13, 2003, it was reported that the band had been dropped off the remainder of the Ozzfest tour, as their label withdrew their tour support. At the time, their album had sold 9,840 copies.[1] Shortly after this, the band was dropped from Lava, and their bassist and drummer quit the group. Nothing much was heard from them until mid-2004, when they moved to Las Vegas and joined up with former Pinata bassist Stitch, drummer Wade Hagblom, and former American Head Charge sampler Aaron Zilch. On August 10, 2004, the band released their second album Resurrection via "Sound Barrier Records". Shortly after, they parted ways with Hagblom and Zilch, and replaced Hagblom with drummer Josh Garcia.
