Tropical Paradise of Seychelles

To all those who are from, want to be in and been to the tropics....Its all about the surf and sun, flora and fauna, the deep blue sea and the beach... The Seychelles is an archipelago made up of 115 islands located 4 degrees south of the equator. The main island is Mahe encompassing the country's capital Victoria. The Seychelles has a wonderful climate and evergreen vegetation, with skyblue sea and amazing beaches. Since its' discovery in 1503 by a Portuguese navigator named Vasco da Gama, the Seychelles has been known for its beauty and unspoilness. Nowadays, the Seychelles is a well known and well appreciated getaway destination amongst many travellers from all over the world, who come to this tropical paradise for an exquisite vacation. The islands offers a diversity of attractions, such as the Valle-de-mai (also known as the garden of Eden) on Praslin island. Valle-de-mai is the largest palm forest in Seychelles mainly consisting of the endemic Coco-de-mer (the biggest nut in the world) and several other endemic spicies. The world's largest atoll "Aldabra" registered as a world heritage site, is home to the largest population of giant tortoise (150,000 in population). Whilst in the Seychelles, you could also enjoy a variety of acitivities including reef and deep sea diving, glass-bottom boat trips, fishing, hiking, island hoping, surfing just to name a few. The hospitality of the people is absolutely divine and the local cuisine tastes wonderful. The Seychelles is truly a Paradise on earth that is worth the experience.
