City Representative recruitment (Eastern Ukraine)

Dear FLEX alumni! I'm glad to announce the beginning of the application process for the positions of FLEX City Representatives for Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, Zaporizhya and Mariupol (if you would like to be a City Representative in a city that's not on the list, please contact me for more details). The City Representative is a volunteer, who works with the FLEX alumni coordinator to coordinate and report on FLEX alumni activities in his/her resident city. City representatives will cooperate with other alumni to plan activities, which reflect the goals of FLEX - community service, professional development, democracy building, English language and American Studies and many others. Why would you want to become a city representative? Here are some of the benefits: -funding for events/projects that you want to conduct -increased chance of winning a grant -travel reimbursement -recommendations from American Councils staff members -business cards (if necessary) -great addition to your resume/CV -mastery of organizational and project management skills -increased opportunities to participate in alumni events -ability to receive funding for FLEX events you organize.
