Something about Avenues & Silhouettes

In September of 2004, 4 kids from Madrid from ages 16 to 17, all coming from different bands, come together with the objective of forming a new band more similar to their musical tastes. The result ended up being so great that all 4 left their earlier bands and started focusing much more on their new project. Therefore, the first line-up was the following: Agus(Guitar), Kals(vocals), Miguew(bass) and Tweety(drums). As soon as all the necessary equipment is acquired, Avenues & Silhouettes inscribe themsselves in the Emergenza contest with no completed songs yet. It is in early 2005 when Avenues & Silhouettes play their first show in the first round of the contest, ending first band of the night. As they continued in the contest while playing other shows at the same time, the need of a second guitar became obvious. Finally in April of 2005 Manu joins Avenues & Silhouettes completing the current line-up. Since then Avenues & Silhouettes have played with many bands ranging many genres (Nacen de las Cenizas, Break the Silence, Sound of Silence, Day of Rising, The Band Apart, The Seventhate...) but yet without any type of recording. It is in April of 2006 when Avenues & Silhouettes record their first demo consisting of two songs. Not satisfied with this recording, in July they record their EP "Oh, How Welcoming Your Reflection" with Carlos Santos in SadMan Studios, and are currently playing shows all around the Spanish geography, including their LOUD TOUR next to As Flames Die Out.
