Дорогие друзья! 13 октября, в понедельник, в 18:00 в Американских Советах по Международному Образованию состоится презентация программы "Законодательные процессы: теория и практика". The Legislative Education and Practice (LEAP) program, sponsored by the United States Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, initiated in 2005, affords up to 20 promising young professionals from Georgia, Russia, Turkey and Ukraine the opportunity to gain comparative and non-governmental organizations (NGO) across the United States. In order to be eligible for inclusion in the LEAP program, successful applicants must be: -Russian, Ukrainian, Georgian or Turkish citizens , -23-33 years old, -alumni of a long-term exchange governmental program in the US at the secondary, undergraduate or post-graduate level (public or privately funded), -have expressed interest and experience in legislative affairs and/or reform; -hold at least a bachelors degree in political science, international affairs, or another related field of study. Fellowships in state legislatures and non-governmental organizations will enable participants to expand upon their previous US-based experiences and provide them with opportunities to develop additional professional skills. The LEAP program includes: -Domestic, international and U.S. travel; -Visa fees and processing costs; -Monthly stipend -Health and accident insurance; -Professional conference attendance; -Professional and educational enhancement funds; -Professional mentoring support during the fellowship.
