The “European Students of Industrial Engineering and Management” (ESTIEM) association proudly presents: Europe3D Switzerland Date: 12th-17th November 2008 Location: Zurich , Switzerland Participation fee: 70 € maximum Application period: 15th September – 10th October 2008 The aim of the Europe3D seminar is to present a country (in this case Switzerland ) under 3 distinct Dimensions: Politics, Economy and Culture. The seminar aims to be a melting pot of cultures: raising discussions and debates among the participants about the hosting country. For instance, you will get an overview of how Switzerland ’s politics work during a conference in Bern and a visit of the House of Parliament. With a lecture given by the Head of Global Markets of the company OSEC and the visit of successful companies such as Wärtsilä and Alstom in the Zurich area, the economical dimension will be explored. The cultural part will be included by traditional cuisine, the visit of a cheese factory and by living Zurich’s nightlife all week long. ESTIEM is welcoming every student from any country and any discipline to send an application for the Europe3D seminar organised by our Local Group Zurich.
