TRIP TO RILA LAKES

Hi people, on our meeting on Tuesday, we decided to organize a trip to the Rila lakes on the 4,5 of October. Here is more information about the trip. We will travel on the 4 and will sleep in the hut (new one) for 1 night. We will come back on the 5. 1. One night in the hut is 12 lv. per person in renovated rooms and 9 lv in non-renovated room-the rooms are for 4,5,6,7,11,12 or 18 people with a common bathroom on the floor. The conditions in the renovated rooms are good-I was there this summer. 2. We can rent a bus for about 15-20 people and it will cost 8.50 per person in one direction. The bus will take us from Blagoevgrad to Hut Pionerska. There is a second variant- to take a bus from Blagoevgrad to Dupnica and from Dupnica to Pionerska. But, I don't recommend this variant because we will not be sure if there will be places for everyone. The second variant is 1 or 2 lv cheaper. You can travel by car and leave it on the car park in front of hut Pionerska. As far as I know it is a save place to leave your car. 3. We have to pay 0.50 stotinki for staying in the National park Rila where is situated the hut. 12+2x8.50+0.50=29.50lv 4. I recommend that you should take food with you though you can buy it in the hut. It is too expensive and you don’t need so much food for 2 days. Here is the programme (it can be changed if you want) 04.10.2008 9:00 Leave from Blagoevgrad 10:40 Arrive at hut Pionerska 10:40-12:40 Climb from hut Pionerska to hut Rila lakes where we will sleep( My friends and I climbed the route for 1 hour, but it depends on the group) 13:00-14:00 Lunch 14:00 We will be accommodated in our rooms( accommodations start after 14:00) 14:10-18:30. We will go to see all the lakes and take pictures. When we get back we will have dinner. 05.10.2008 9:00-Get up 9:00-10:00 Have breakfast. 10:00 Leave the rooms. 10:10-12:00 Get from hut Rila lakes to hut Pionerska. 12:00-13:40 Take a bus from Pionerska to Blagoevgrad 14:00. Arrival in Blagoevgrad. You will need: 2 pairs of shoes, 2 long pants, 2 tick sweaters , 1 jacket-(winter jacket if you have),socks, gloves, raincoat,t-shirts-2-3 maximum, cap, pyjamas, Rucksack, a bottle for water. If I forget something please tell me. If you don’t have something but you want to come or ou want to ask something, just write an e-mail. Please say if you want to come as soon as possible (but not after Tuesday-when is our next meeting) so I will have in mind for how many people I should reserve room.
