Debut Show and Premier Flopped - Trying Again!!

Well the long-awaited (by my cat) debut of me and my Live Stage Extravaganza at The Other Side Gastro Bar & Refuge back in June was pretty hilarious because neither Doug nor I realized that that was the night of the European Football Championship Final... Can you say "empty bar", boys and girls? If at first you don't succeed... Date: 28 August (Thursday) Time: 20:00 - 22:00 Where: Bolshaya Konyushennaya 1, St. Petersburg - Russia - Europe - Earth Last Performance Follows Hard on Heels of First! The last gig saw the first-ever live public performance (i.e. for Doug and Tanya, the barman, and Kirill & Vitaliy who miraculously turned up!) of the Samuel Adams Waltz, the catchy little beer-swilling song I wrote in honor of Douglas' heroic struggle to introduce Samuel Adams Boston Lager to St. Petersburg. Well, sometimes you eat the bear, and sometimes the bear eat you. In this case, the bear is the beer distributor who doesn't want to handle the Samuel Adams brand anymore, and he as et Doug. (More money in cheap malted-corn swill for the teeming masses - ah, well, that's capital-izzm.) So if Doug has any left on tap by the 28th maybe I'll give the tune one last "swan song!"
