Photographer Biography Tim Walker: Photographer at photo.net I suppose in the real world I'm obligated to say I'm a graphic designer by profession, or I guess these days I'm the creative director of a graphic design firm that I founded some 12 years ago now. Outside of that box, I'm also a painter/drawer, very interested in multimedia work, and have recently rekindled a boyhood interest in photography. This is mostly due, I think, to the appearance of digital tools, although my photographs are intentionally not 'digital' or manipulated in appearance. My work affords me interaction with a number of wonderful photographers and illustrators -- image makers of all kinds -- all of them inspiring me to do personal work of my own. I suppose I'm interested in image making of all kinds, but I've recently become fascinated with the power of photography as a medium. Not only working with it myself, but looking at the work of others. It's become a passion. I've learned a great deal on this site by observing, and hope to learn more by asking for critiques.
