Repressed emotions, negativity, hate and anything dark, morose or morbid. From the still twitching corpse of pulverized... a new beginning came about with the addition of new members and new songs being wrote. It was only appropriate that the name was changed to honour this. The band went through numerous names before settling on the monicker of ’THEOKTONY’. They have built up a repetoir of faster, leaner, meaner tracks, dare I call them ... SONGS! The band have had a lot of gig interest and become a hard working live band-playing with as many bands as they can, far and wide. They have shared stages with such acts as mistress, skinless, gorerotted, blood duster, cancer, visceral bleeding, hell melitia, desecration, severe torture and the berzerker . In march 2006 they recorded a five track EP which the band used as a promo to get their music heard... you can still get a copy directly from the band, if you so desire. A track was lifted from this and featured on the grind ethic compilation ’damn and blast vol. 2’ Receiving good responses all round it seems... a zero tolerance demo review called it "Storming and unique. A fine blend of both sides of the death metal coin" Now signed to the rather reputable label... FETO records, ran by Shane Embury and Mick Kenney from napalm death and anaal nathrakh respectively.
