Travelling from Action Art to Buto Dance. She considers her work as a chemical way of life, an organic dissolution in the socio-political environment. Definitely against art as a merchandise, she works in order to help perception and experience reappear. In 1995, inspired by the art of Joseph Beuys, Yves Klein, John Cage, Nam June Paik... she established herself as an action artist. In the Action Art she had found a way to act in life, so that drinking Fluxus' nectar she conceived everyday as an occasion to plant a flower of nonsense amidst the mechanical course of daily life. 1999 bitten body, dance wound. Thanks to the spanish dancer Sua Urana she discovered the medium of body, harsh reality and buto dance. Since 2003 she has been intensively working with some butoh dancers (Tadashi Endo, Frank Van de Ven, Daisuke Yoshimoto, Moeno Wakamatsu, Sumako Koseki, Imre Thormann, Itto Morita and Mika Takeuchi). Yet Masaki Iwana remains the foremost reference. Butoh as fresco dance, a chemical dissolution of body, time and space. The fact of opening a time where something can emerge, an empty space, a field to generate a real phenomenon, something unpredictable happening in front of audience's eyes, moreover thanks to their eyes, that's what she appreciates the most from a dance performance. In 2004-2005 she was working with Derevo In 2005 she met and had an intensive work with "INBETWEEN BUTOH COMPANY", what changed her understanding of body by the discovering of Butoh. In 2005-2006 she created "SPIT" her own dance and physical theatre company in Estonia, and performed in Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Poland and Portugal. Since 2006 as she has been working intensively with several butoh dancers: Masaki Iwana, Moeno Wakamatsu and Daisuke Yoshimoto, she has performed in Normandy, Paris and Rome, both independently and within the frame of the workshops. In 2008 finished her art, design and media academical course, she entered University of Brighton at Visual art in Dance Faculty to explore combination of visual ,acting and dance aesthetics. Her visual works have been inspired by Andrey Tarkovsky, Bill Viola, Matthew Barney, AXE engineering theater, Cindy Sherman and Mariko Mori. Her main interest is Butoh as a unique and magical tradition to live and act in present, allowing spontaneous in our life, and to watch from the perspective of an animal, an insect, even inanimate objects...value everything. 3 frescoes An infectious dance performance sewed with raw emotion. All the intriguing narrative of butoh dance in 3 landscapes strangely dramatic and absurd. The spanish butoh dance company Baba de Plata presents "3 butoh frescoes", featuring Mars and Ania. About "3 frescoes", you know what a fresco is, that painting used mainly in the XV, XVI centuries. Fresco means fresh, because they painted directly with the pigments on the wall, which was fresh, then by a chemical reaction the pigments penetrate and became one with the wall. It's different than a colour film laid on a surface. As the wall was fresh they had to work rather quickly, with decision, and they couldn't make changes afterwards. It's immediate and fresh as improvisation, and the pigments penetrates the wall, becoming one as in butoh the dancer is penetrated by the air and the time, becoming one with the site. This is one of the essences of butoh dance. The dance of Mars and Ania is quite fresh. From a single generating motif, often very simple, the dance advances and transforms by the influence of whatever stimulations which are floating the room.
