J ROZ released her debut album distributed through Nomadic Sound System entitled BREAKGROUND which sold thousands of copies and is currently working on an l.p. with her DJ, Ethos(Beats & Pieces). Due to involvements with her first album, her and her DJ were granted the opportunity to be the first Los Angeles independent Hip Hop act to travel & perform in Mexico City, thus breaking ground for LA Hip Hop in that demographic. This led to participations on nation-wide collaborations and mix-tapes. She currently dropped her first music video with Ethos and YG(PrimeRhyme Crew) entitled 'Focus' which appears off the Universo Mix-Tape released through Quilombo. No stranger to the stage, Jroz has served many amongst mc battles, performances on College Campuses, venues up the Cali Coast, and of course venues all-throughout Southern Cali. She has also performed with, and under the line-up of world-renown band Ozomatli. She is part of the THE[SIS]TEM Movement which represents for all struggling femm artists growing up in the multi-cultural community. Other crews: SPRAY CAN ARTISTS and NITEMARES COME TRUE.
