Yacht Week ELSA Brno

ELSA Brno is proud to present to you ELSA Brno Yacht Week 2008! This event, organised for the first time, will take place from 30th of August until 6th September. This weeklong event is aimed not solely on relaxing. The need for communication and cooperation with ELSA Members from all over the Europe will help develop your various soft skills, teamwork, under professional supervision you will learn how to handle a yacht, read the sea and enjoy your time. You will learn about the Croatian culture, taste great seafood and Croatian wines. This event is open to all Members, freshers and experienced alike. Developing and sharing ELSA Spirit, learning about different cultures and telling others about yours – this week will be full of ELSA and full of sea. We will be sailing the Mediterranean sea around the beautiful Kornati archipelago, located in northern Dalmatia, not far from Sibenik. Kornati National Park is famous for its well preserved beauty and it consists of 140 uninhabited islands, islets and reefs covering the area of only 70 km2 . We will set off from Sukosan, a beautiful holiday resort a with a spacious and cultivated long coastline, numerous intimate coves and clean clear sea. Sukosan harbour is near Zadar, from which we can arrange transport for you. The capacity of one yacht (Bavaria 34 - 34 feet) is 7 people (+ The Captain, who is included), so you can create your own team ! Capacity of the whole event is 49 people. All participants will gain valuable skills on sailing a yacht, (all captains are speaking English) basics of teambuilding and teamwork, greatly enhance their communication and social skills. Apart from that, you will get nice tan colour as a bonus to all your memories  . Are you prepared to enjoy the freedom and beauty of a sail ?
