Quirky and pretty, edgy yet girly, LiMian is a brainchild of two young Moscow-based Armenian designers, Lilita Mezhlumian and Marianna Aleksanian - socialites and life long friends. Artistic and fashion focused since their early days, they obtained degrees in serious matters like law and economics, before taking up a jewellery course in London's St. Martin's. Private tuition with some of the world's most experienced jewelers followed suit, and a few months later, LiMian was born.Strong and eye-catching, LiMian pieces quickly gained a cult status within the young it-crowds of Moscow, London, New York and other fashion capitals. Diamonds and colourful semi-precious stones, use of unusual materials and bold, whimsical designs came as a powerful response to the fashion world's growing need the growing need for statement, yet fun, jewellery. LiMian collections include splendid pieces as well as easier styles like the brand's signature Luck Bracelets. Simple but very personal, these beaded bracelets are custom made for each customer with gemstones and materials of his/her choice, often featuring initials. All LiMian pieces are hand made by a team of high profile jewelers from all over the world. Traditions and technologies used by these highly experienced professionals, combined with the duo's contemporary vision, create LiMian's unique flavour - eclectic, dynamic and, above all, happy.
