The official language of the Forum are English and Russian and the participants are selected based on objective criteria, which give the applicants the possibility to come from different European and non-European areas, cultures and practical fields. It is envisaged that 35 participants representing different countries will take part in the Forum. Participants will have vast possibilities for formal and informal exchange of opinions, fostering of the scientific networking and interaction with colleagues, sharing of the useful information and different views based on their accumulated knowledge and professional experience. Our Associations do believe that owing to such scientific and cultural exchanges the law and politics students of Russia and other states could have in the future as legal professionals a better and enhanced cross-cultural understanding, especially when it comes to the current processes of international legal and political order and global interactions and influences of legal and political systems of our countries. The major objective of the “Slavic Forum” is to bring together law and politics students and young law and political practitioners from all over the Europe and to discuss issues connected to the current questions of international law and order, which are not covered well enough by the law or political sciences’ school curricula. In particular, the short-term objective of this international event is to involve participants (students, graduate students, PhD researchers) into the discussion of the present international evaluations of the Balkans, to exchange views on the practice of the diplomatic relations between Russia and the Balkan States
