His innovative productions range between Neo-Trance, Techno and Minimal and have enabled him releases on the renowned Munich-based labels Great Stuff Records and Craft Music, which have drawn worldwide attention on Butch within less than a year. Butch’s debut on Great Stuff entitled “On the line”, which includes remixes by the French producer-legend Oxia and the Cocoon Act Pig & Dan, already counts itself as one of the hits of the club-season 2007 and spent weeks in the Beatport sales charts Top 5 (current stand: 7000+ downloads). His Craft Music releases “Life is Deadly” and “Falling” and his remixes for Swoop aka Stephan Bodzin (“Black Market”) and for Silent Breed’s (Thomas P. Heckmann) “Sync In” have broadened Butch’s fan base immensely and can proudly count Deep Dish, Axwell, Claude von Stroke, Oliver Koletzki and Blackstrobe’s Ivan Smagghe as a part of it. The aftermath is bookings in Japan , France , Spain , Italy , Turkey , Switzerland and Austria . His DJ-sets are defined through a pressurizing sound ranging from Tech-House, Neo-Trance and hypnotic Minimal-Techno and his amazingly fine feeling to get the audience where he wishes. Butch’s future looks bright: New productions for Great Stuff/Craft Music are soon to follow and his minimal project under his real name Bülent Gürler, with releases on Trapez, is gaining more and more support throughout the scene. Furthermore he is also active as A&R for Envy My Music Records the label of friend and studiopartner Rimah Khalouf (Amir / producer of Groove Rebels). This makes him partly responsible for the success this young label has recently experienced and not only because of the two remixes Butch made for the Envy My Music Records singles “Eternity” and “Marathon”, which found great acceptance with the likes of John Acquaviva, Steve Lawler, Umek, Mark Knight, Rui Da Silva and Moonbootica. Butch has made his mark and is not willing to back up!
