There are seven magical kingdoms total; all of them are watched by fairies until a rightful king or queen assumes power. Apple trees surround the palace in the Golden Apple Kingdom. When a member of the royal family touches one of the apples, it turns to gold. The nectar harvested from the golden apples grants those who drink it immortality until they find their true love and produce an heir.
