Art of War Fighting Championship 15

Get ready ladies and gentlemen. Another action packed Art of War event is headed your way. On November 28, the Art of War Fighting Championship returns to the National Olympic Sports Center in Beijing and will feature the return of veteran Chinese mixed martial artist, Ao Hai Lin. In the Main Event, Ao Hai Lin will face off against the tough Swedish newcomer, Claes Beverlov, who has already earned two submission victories in the Art of War ring. Claes Beverlov has earned a reputation as a tough and game fighter, having finished both Wang Sai and Zhang Li Peng, who is a student of Ao Hai Lin. Now Claes Beverlov has his sights set on Ao Hai Lin, a veteran of China's mixed martial arts movement. Ao Hai Lin, will have his hands full against Claes Beverlov, as he attempts to avenge the loss of his student, Zhang Li Peng. Both fighters are well rounded and display excellent standup and ground fighting skills. Ao Hai Lin has the edge in experience but Claes Beverlov has shown tremendous promise and improvement during the last year. In the Co-Main Event, Wu Hao Tian will face Arthit Hanchana of Thailand. Hanchana is an expert striker and shows improving ground skills every fight. In his last Art of War appearance, Hanchana dominated Wu Haotian's teammate and teacher, Dai Shuang Hai for the entire fight, handing Dai Shuanghai his first solid defeat in the Art of War ring. This will be the second time that Hanchana has fought Wu Haotian. In their first encounter, Wu Haotian defeated Hanchana by decision. Wu Haotian has a lot to carry on his shoulders as he is coming off a devastating KO loss against Shukrat Minavarov of Uzbekistan in Art of War 13. Now, he is stepping into the ring to face an old adversary, but with new found skills. Will Wu Haotian allow for his teammate's defeat to play mental games with him? Hanchana has vowed that he is different fighter than when they first met over 2 years ago. Wu Haotian will have to stay sharp if he wants to claim another victory over Hanchana. * (11.11.09) Ryuki Ueyama of Japan will replace Claes Beverlov in the main event against Ao Hailin. C. Beverlov is unable to compete on the AOW15 card due to a bout of the flu. Japanese veteran fighter, Ryuki Ueyama, who has previously competed against the like likes of Sean Sherk, Shaolin Ribeiro, and Rani Rahya and in large MMA promotions such as K-1 Hero's and Pride Bushido, will step up against Ao Hailin. Both athletes are well-rounded in strikes and submissions. This main event will certainly deliver the fireworks!
