To/Die/For, the new face of Mary-Ann signed recording deal with spinefarm (02/07/1999). The band is composed by Jape, Tonmi, J-P, Andy and Miika. Andy left the band before the fist album session and Joonas replaced him. Them first album see lights in Finland in 1999, it's "All Eternity". This album was released under two others label, Pony Canyon in Japan and Nuclear Blast, a prestigious metal label in Germany. "In The Heat Of The Night", a Sandra cover, became a hit and a video-clip was diffused on a lot of channels. The first To/Die/For european tour, in autumn 2000, was with Dark Tranquillity, In flames and Sentenced. After this tour, Miikka, the bass players left the band and Make "Homowar" replaced him. After this long tour, they released the second album, "Epilogue", on the 7th May 2001 in Finland. Some guest participed at the sessions, Marco Hietala (Sinergy), Tanya (Lullacry) and Cathy. Like "In The Heat Of The Night", "Hollow Heart" became a hit. In Summer 2001, J-P decided to Left the band and To/Die/For toured without him in Finland, Europe, Russia and mexico. They announce a new album, "Jaded", in 2002. "Jaded" session satrtedat the Astia Studios in 12 October 2002 and Alli, replace J-P. Normaly, "Jaded" will be realesed the 24th March 2003... In August 2003, Jape decided to leave To/Die/For cause he had no more motivation in the band, near september, a good news came, Jape is finally preparing a new band with some Ex TDF members, Tiaga. They putted three songs on the net some days after this news. During this time, Tonmi, Joonas and Marko joined a new Band, HateFrame, with two other members, Eza Viren and Ilkka Valkonen, but they choose to continue TDF with Juha Kylmanen, the For My Pain and Reflexion singer, and play some gigs in Mexico in March 2004. Some months later, at the begining of 2004 year, Tiaga announced they'll take-back To/Die/For name. Finally, To/Die/For will continue with Jape... Now we are waiting for their 4th LP near Autumn 2004 :)...
