Ueickap (Wake Up) - сицилийская команда, образованная в 2003 году. На их счету пока что 1 EP и 1 альбом. Состав: Irene Fraccavento – Voice Graziano Manuele – Guitar Davide Santo – Bass Marco Garro – Keys Francesco (Cisko) Susino - Drums Five different people, five musicians, five minds that work as one. Put together in 2003 by an affinity that can only be defined as pure friendship, the Catania-based combo (Sicily, Italy) has immediately started to blend their musical tastes in an ‘experimental-but-not-too-much’ style that can only be defined as ‘nu-goth-metal’: it has the edge of metal, the grooviness of nu-metal, the melancholy of gothic… all wrapped up in an easily accessible melange of various musical influences. After the EP “The Picture Of Mr. Armchair” (August 2004), something just a little more than a home-made demo, the band focused on making reality out of ambition: self-producing a full-length album, something that would be able to enter the world of music with a blast. 5 months in their home studio, living together, working hard night&day, painstakingly defining every nuance of their music… an insatiable thirst for quality that goes beyond mere technicalities, a lot of headaches but most of all an infinite passion and dedication for music: all of this lead the guys & girl to the birth of “Stereotyped”, out on January 2006 on Risingworks/SELF(Italy). 13 tracks that have just one purpose: to entertain, to involve emotionally, ranging in the whole spectrum of feelings: anger, fear, pain, serenity, loss, hate, love. And the best has yet to come…
